Cyberbots: Full Metal Madness takes place on Earth, in the late 21st century. The planet's population skyrocketed, and as a solution, space colonies were constructed to ease the overcrowding. At this time, Earth Force served as the planet's primary defense force. Giant mecha abound, and these armors are often battled in the civilian sector for sport. The best mecha pilots are revered in the same manner as famous sports heroes. In the military arena, these armors form the very defense core of the Force's military might.
