Theme Description

Mankind spread out from Terra to the stars, and became unified under the guidance of the Star League. A greedy man, Stefan Amaris, plunged the Star League into civil war until the Star League Defense Force finally destroyed the Usurper. Before Peace could regain itself, the Noble Houses of the Inner Sphere began to squabble for control of the Star League, and the Star League fractured into the nations that it contains today. General Kerensky, disgusted at the greed of the Great Houses, left the Star League, taking his loyalists with him, heading far beyond its borders. That was centuries ago. It is now the 31st century. The Great Houses still jockey for position, having destroyed much of the technical base of the Old Star League, until Kerensky's descendants return in the form of the Clans. The Clan Invasion has rocked the Inner Sphere to its core. Old grudges have been forgotten, nations destroyed, new technologies have been rediscovered or researched, and the Clans were finally brought to a halt at the planet of Tukyiad by the forces of Comstar. The Inner Sphere is far from peaceful, however, for the Clans will resume their fight and the Great Houses all still covet the position of First Lord of the Inner Sphere for their own...
