Aging

Characters can and do grow older here--the Gates don't halt the biological process of aging, or any technological equivalents. By default, characters start out at their canon age; this can vary, depending on the point in the series they were applied from. From there, they age accordingly. If a year has passed since that character was apped, that character is now a year older. Players applying for characters that have been previously played for years (and thus, aged considerably) may opt to wipe the slate clean, so to speak. They can apply for the character at their original age, minus any prior interactions--ICly, the character is from a version of their plane that's behind in its timeline.
