Continuity

Continuity is another important issue on a multitheme MUSH. Characters and settings can change dramatically over the course of a theme's source material, but rather than establishing a policy of murky continuity, we've opted for the following rule: Characters can be applied for from any point in their series, presuming that they were canonically active at that point.The IC explanation for this is fairly simple--if two characters are applied for from different points in their source's timeline, they can easily be from two planes that differ only in the local time. OOCly, members who are applying into a new cast would do well to check and see what points in the timeline the other cast members have apped into.
