Relief Society

Faction: Unaffiliated

Mission Objectives and Summary

The Relief Society's primary drive is not combat, but service. For this reason, The Relief Socity is /not/ a subdivision of the IPA. It is a completely independent charity/aid organization. Members of the Relief Socity need not be members of the IPA, and vice versa. Our job is not to fight, but to bring relief to areas that experienced collateral damage, especially to its people. The Relief Society also does a great deal of charity work to raise money for those who need it most. Examples include charity auctions, balls, bake sales, blood drives, and other activities suggested by the group's members. Combat situations may prove to be inevitable; the first priority in such a case is defense - of one's self, the surrounding area, and civilians unable to defend themselves in a sufficient manner. The Relief Society strives to keep the peace and make the world(s) a better place for all to live.

Rules

  1. If you see an opportunity to do good, do good.
  2. While pacifists are welcome, this is not a requirement to join the Relief Society. At times there may be a need to fight, to protect and defend yourselves and others from those who mean ill.
  3. Cruelty and malice will not be tolerated. Fighting is okay, as stated before. But those who promote violence unnecessarily, or cause unnecessary harm to the enemy, will be given a warning. After three warnings, the offender will be asked to leave the group.
  4. You do not have to fight if you don't want to.
  5. 'Goody Two Shoes' is a compliment!
  6. Delight in good works and learning. In other words, serve with a smile!
  7. Though Orihime is the founder, everyone is equally important and valuable to the group's prosperity. A 'round table' meeting will be held at least once a month where members may submit proposals, suggestions, and ideas as to how the Relief Society can help others. Uplift and support each other; you don't have to agree with every idea, but downright rudeness won't be tolerated.
  8. New members should submit a form with their name, zone of origin, birthday, and a list of special talents and abilities that can be effectively put to use. We will welcome and introduce you at our next monthly meeting!
