At the world's dawning, the Creator sealed The Dark One beneath Shayol Ghul, but he broke free when men drilled into the Pit of Doom. he was finally sealed by the Dragon, Lews Therin Telamon, but not before the male half of the One Power was tainted by his touch. In the present time, The Dark One seeks to break free of his prison, conquer the world of men and shatter the Wheel of Time itself...allowing him to create a new world inhis image, under his dominion.
