Profile: Archer is the future Heroic Spirit self of Shirou Emiya that was summoned to participate in the Fifth War for the Holy Grail. His entire reason for joining was so that he could end his life before he became an Eirei, which turned out to be the exact opposite of what he thought it would be. He has since accepted his fate. A virtually unknown Servant amidst legendary figures, Archer excels at 'imaging'-- replicating weapons he has seen and the skill of their owners. He is a difficult one to get along with, being arrogant, cocky and sarcastic with a penchant for not sugar-coating things. Archer is however a genuinely good person who is a valuable friend to have. Once he is devoted he will not hesitate to give his life to see the job done.
