Profile: One of the three Idol Topless along with Larc Mellk Mal and Nikolas Vacheron, Tycho Science was a hotheaded but driven Buster Machine pilot. Furious at Larc's easy claim of the position of Number One Topless and desiring nothing more than to claim the spot for herself, Tycho is reckless and will totally disregard her own safety or the safety of others in the pursuit of her goal. Following the destruction of her long-time partner Buster Machine Soixante-Six and a thorough browbeating from Nono, Tycho has calmed down a little, becoming a calmer, more professional young woman...although she's still something of a firecracker. She now pilots Quatre-Vingt-Dix, the newest Buster Machine off the line, which is a long-range artillery support robot specializing in freezing attacks. Like all Topless, Tycho Science possesses an enormously powerful psychic ability - in her case, telepathy. Tycho's telepathy is powerful enough to possess small animals and use them to talk to specific people from the other end of the Solar System, and at its fullest extent, Tycho has the power to speak to people telepathically from across the gulfs of time itself - even people who have died.
