Profile: The galaxy has seen the rise and fall of many powerful entities. For most intents and purposes, the Cosimir seems to be one of them--a godlike incorporeal being, it was once revered by a long-vanished alien race. Since the disappearance of its original worshippers, the Cosimir has been adopted by followers of the Hatire faith, a human religion that values simplicity and purity of spirit. The Hatire have conquered hundreds of worlds in the name of their alien god, and ultimately hope to spread its message to the rest of the galaxy. For its part, the Cosimir remains a passive entity, though the Hatire have credited it with multiple miracles. It expects nothing less than total purity from its followers. It has made its will quite clear--those with the strength to cleanse their minds and souls may gain its blessings, but corruption of any sort will not be tolerated. And the Cosimir's definition of 'corrupt' is a broad one, indeed...
